Terms of Service (EULA)

Welcome to LociGuide. Your access to and use of the LociGuide mobile application ("app") is subject to the following Terms of Service. By using the app, you agree to these terms as well as Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

⚖️ 1. Agreement to Terms and Apple EULA

Your use of the app is governed by these terms and the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("EULA"). You can find the terms of the Standard Apple EULA here: Apple Standard EULA. In the event of any conflict, the Apple Standard EULA shall prevail.

💳 2. Premium Subscriptions & Billing

Certain features of LociGuide, such as unlimited spoken narrations, AI photo recognition, and offline map downloads, require a Premium subscription. We offer weekly, monthly, and yearly subscription tiers.

• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store Account Settings after purchase.
• Refunds: All payments are processed and handled directly by Apple, and refunds are subject to Apple's App Store terms and policies.

🛡️ 3. Fair Use Policy

To prevent abuse and maintain server stability, AI-based features (including landmark photo scanning and interactive Q&A assistant chats) are subject to reasonable daily fair use quotas. Attempts to bypass these constraints may result in a temporary or permanent restriction of service access.

⚠️ 4. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

LociGuide provides historical commentary and routing suggestions for informational and travel-recreational purposes only. While we strive for historical accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness or absolute correctness of the narrations. We are not liable for navigation errors, path safety, or travel disruptions occurring during walks.

All app source code, custom layout designs, text content, and AI pipelines are the property of LociGuide. Third-party photography is sourced from Wikimedia Commons and used under corresponding Creative Commons or public-domain licenses as credited inside the "Photo Credits" screen.
